Heya all you who read my journal entries.
My activity here on DA has slowed considerably over the last few weeks. Sadly, I have not really done anything artistic in days. To my annoyance, I still have one more test to get my first round of exams out of the way, and already it is nearly time for some classes to start their second round.
For those of you who do not know me in real life, I have migraine problems when school escalates to certain degrees. Yeah, I have gone to the doctor and they have done a brain scan on me years ago, no tumor. It is just stress issues, they give me debilitating migraines if my stress levels get to high. These severe headaches make me sensitive to light and sound, my left eye will occasionally twitch on it's own, I generally loose my ability to concentrate, and all I want to do is sleep. It sucks.
My entire weekend, Friday evening on, was spend sleeping 12 hours a night and spending 12 hours miserably trying to get some relief. Doesn't help much that my body chemistry is resistant to meds. Today (Tuesday) I slept though my alarms and missed a class.
And I hate when I sleep through a class.

*sigh*

But on a less whiny note, I have stumbled across some several cool deviant artists since my last journal entry. So with no more distractions, let us move on to my special edition of deviants of note.



People of Interest:


A friend of mine from my hometown. Well, she is not from my hometown, but we went to college there together for a year. She has a powerful personality and an extremely creative mind. She is a skilled writer, a game master that comes up with unique story lines, and a good artist too.
That is not the end of it though. She has the cool trait of acute hearing. Literally, she can hear a TV in the dorm commons area from inside her room down the hall. I have to actually leave the room and go half way down the hall to even detect the television. Yeah, it is cool that she can hear that well, but it also keeps her up at night sometimes.
If you do not mind a straightforward and sometimes a bit brash conversation with an intelligent woman, then why not send her an intelligent comment. Keep in mind, she has little patience for stupid though.



A mutual friend of Korinthis and myself. The three of us were friends back at that college and spent a good amount of time hanging out. Before I transferred, we spent considerable time in a White Wolf Scion game. Well two actually, one hosted by Korinthis' boyfriend, and the other hosted by Korinthis herself.
Dragonknight007 is a bit quiet, but she can also be perky and sweet. She is amazingly intelligent, and can be found with her nose in a book almost more often than not. She has been developing her artistic talents for character art as well. More love and attention to detail was never given by any other person to her characters.
While she can be a bit shy and quiet at first, she is definitely worth talking to. If you are nice and civil, she may even open up a bit and show you her intelligent side. If she does, then she could really surprise you.



WOW! This deviant actually is interested in using the stock of my hand in his own art! I can't wait to see what he does with it.



This deviant I just happened to stumble across, and wow he has some great photographs! One in particular really caught my attention.

There is just something about gas masks used artistically that really get me. Don't stop looking at his gallery there though! He has many many more awesome photographs. His artistic style is not something you will see very often, and indeed some of his stylistic touches are really quite unique!
